The WSBA Board of Directors serves the critical function of setting the direction of the association within the broader guidelines established by the bylaws. The board also hires the executive director, establishes a vision, approves the budget, sets policy, and provides a link to local boards.

Attend four (4) quarterly meetings (January, April, July, October)
Visit area school boards at least once per year
Attend as many local, state, and national conferences as possible
Assist with local and state conferences as called upon
Be an advocate for the Wyoming School Boards Association
