Goal 1: Provide board development opportunities and resources that meet member needs for effective governance.
Provide development and assistance to school boards for leadership and governance.
Provide individual and whole board development opportunities.
Ensure board members have access to data and resources necessary for good governance.
Goal 2: Increase advocacy for public education.
Advocate for local control of schools and schooling.
Advocate for adequate funding for students and school districts.
Provide professional development to districts on effective advocacy.
Be the preeminent voice for public education in Wyoming and work with partners to maximize educational benefits for all students.
Provide data and information to assist advocacy efforts.
Showcase student success at the state and district (community) level.
Goal 3: Enhance organizational effectiveness and capacity.
Foster good communication and strengthen relationships with school board members across the state.
Provide information and resources that will aid school board members in fulfilling their roles as leaders of local educational agencies.
Identify the needs of each district and provide programs and services to school boards of those districts to meet needs.
